Click-N-Type removal 

Note: Please check your version by looking at "Help > About Click-N-Type".  If it is older than 3.03 please read this.

Follow the instructions below to smoothly remove Click-N-Type Version 3.03 or newer from your system.

• Close Click-N-Type if is currently running.
• Click your Start button followed by All Programs.
• Go to the Click-N-Type group and click Uninstall Click-N-Type.
• Follow the Uninstall Applet instructions.
• When prompted again about completely removing Click-N-Type, Click the "Yes" button.

Note:  If you do not have an Uninstall Click-N-Type... item under you Options menu, you have Click-N-Type Version 1.03 or older, you should go back to the "Removing Click-N-Type Version 1.03 or earlier" section above.

Follow the instructions below to smoothly remove Click-N-Type Version 1.04 or newer from your system.  Note:  If you are upgrading to a newer version of Click-N-Type, you are advised to follow these instructions to remove it before reinstalling the new version on your system.  All your previous settings will be remembered when you reinstall.

• Run Click-N-Type if not already running.
• Click the Options menu, followed by the Uninstall Click-N-Type... option.  The Uninstall Click-N-Type applet will pop up.
• This applet gives you total control over how you want to uninstall Click-N-Type, but the first check box is all you need to be concerned with.
  • If you intend to reinstall a newer version of Click-N-Type, just leave this box Checked.
  • If you want to get rid of Click-N-Type forever, Uncheck this box.
• Click the Remove Click-N-Type from my system button.
• When prompted again about completely removing Click-N-Type, Click the "Yes" button.

Note:  The instructions directly below are simply for those of you who may still be running Version 1.03 or older.

Follow the instructions below to smoothly remove Click-N-Type Version 1.03 or older from your system.  Note:  If you are upgrading to a newer version of Click-N-Type, you MUST follow these instructions to remove it before reinstalling the new version on your system.  All your previous settings will be remembered when you reinstall.

• Run Click-N-Type if not already running.
• Click the "Options" menu.
• Make sure both "Run at Boot Up" and "Shortcut on Desktop" are unchecked. If not, click one or the other or both to make them become unchecked.
• Close Click-N-Type.
• Get to your Control Panel by clicking "Start | Settings | Control Panel".
• Double-click the "Add/Remove Programs" icon.
• Find the Click-N-Type entry and select it.
• Click the "Add/Remove" button.
• When asked to confirm you action, click "Yes".

Click-N-Type creates Registry entries under the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\Click-N-Type
If you're as fussy as I am, you can go use Regedit to zap that key, even though it doesn't hurt anything.
